Job Duties
Involve in diagnoses and treating diseases and injuries of pets. Conduct surgeries like spays, neuters, dental extractions and other soft tissue surgeries for pets. Prescribe and administer preventive health care for pets, educates pet owners on wellness needs as well as nutritional and behavioral management of pets. Involve in obtaining relevant pet medical information and history from clients, furnish them and maintain complete medical records for both healthy and sick pets. Educate clients about affordable preventive care plans offered by our company, preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnoses or treatment and other hospital services. Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans to the veterinary medical team and client and provide effective communication between and among team members. Develop an efficient productive veterinary medical team that provides quality care and service to pets and clients. Ensure the safety of pets, clients and team members by utilizing and training other team members in safe restraining techniques, following standard anesthetic and surgery protocols and maintaining clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, labs and surgical suite.
Education
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or foreign equivalent in Veterinary Medicine/Science with Thirty Six (36) months of experience in the job offered or as a veterinarian or Associate Veterinarian is required.
Experience
Experience of Thirty Six (36) months working as a Veterinarian or Associate Veterinarian is required. Missouri veterinary license is also required.
